W.A.R. (short for Warfare Assistance Robot) is an all-terrain robot aimed at assisting Indian armed forces. It is capable of carrying out minimalistic yet necessary tasks like equipment transfer, shielding system, fire extinguishing, navigation, and area surveillance.
With the advancement in weapon engineering and technology over the past
few decades, many nations have adopted new and innovative techniques to
strengthen their militaries. Many fatalities in warfare situations or at
country borders having frequent tensions could be avoided if technology
is employed to do certain tasks, resulting in reduced human
interference.
Accordingly, we have come up with an approach to introduce autonomous
robots in such adverse conditions that can carry out minimalistic yet
necessary tasks like equipment transfer, protection systems, fire
extinguishing, and many more to assist our soldiers and provide some
crucial support.
