ABOUT US

DRISHTI is a technical club of SVNIT and is comprised of a bunch of inquisitive members from various branches aims at encouraging curious minds to build up their technical aspect in a constructive manner and enhancing their social quotient by providing a real-time opportunity to work as a team in a healthy competitive environment where everyone is free to frame his viewpoint in reality. DRISHTI is a constant representative in various National and International competitions like ABU rover, Indian Rover Challenge and Boeing Aeromodelling.

Team DRISHTI has been working on the Rover since the last four years and we participated in IRC (Indian Rover Challenge) in the years 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 securing ranks 4th, 8th, 9th and 12th respectively.

The Rover Team also took part in IRDC (International Rover Design Challenge) in the year 2020, 2022 and achieved 13th and 15th rank respectively. The 2021 Rover team also competed in the International Mars Hackathon held by Mars Society South Asia (MSSA) where we had to find solutions for various problems that can face while travelling to Mars and setting up a colony there. We achieved 17th rank in that competition.

In 2021, Team Rover entered Gujcost Robofest for the first time and won the joint-winner price.
